Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Sydney International Student Award, applicants must:

• Be an international student under the Higher Education Support Act 2003
• Hold citizenship of an eligible country or region
• Receive an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree
• Not already be enrolled at the University of Sydney (except for second-degree applicants)
• Not be enrolled in MBA, EMBA, distance learning, executive education, or Law Dual Degree programs
• Meet the academic entry requirements of the University of Sydney

Application Procedure

• Apply for an eligible degree at the University of Sydney as an international student
• During the application, submit a personal statement using the official template
• The personal statement includes three sections (maximum 200 words each):

2. Why you chose the University of Sydney
3. Your academic and career goals

• Eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the award
• Successful applicants receive a revised offer letter with the scholarship applied
• No separate scholarship application is required.
